Sex machine! Smile I can see you've change your mind about the wheelset - are these on Hope Pro's II? ...and I am seeing right - Syncros's stem'n'post? ...heh, and you've kept the Shimano platforms! - my man! Smile Now I think what this babe needs is a double chainring setup and you're rock'n'rolling dude! BTW, put some of the components info into the picture description.

Weight at the moment (commuter/xc setup) is around 13.2kg and will go up with my beefier wheelset and off-road tyres to around 14kg. Not the light bike but I have strong legs...I think Smile
The blue hose is Jagwire Ripcord - shame only 2m of lenght is included in the box.

very wise, at least you can use them for some off-road action...my Supersonic failed twice even on tarmac - at 50psi a small piece of glass goes through it easily.

Yep, the rotors direction is correct...and yes, I've already experienced how weak the Race Kings are and now I use them only for commuting. For anything else than tarmac/smooth XC this Supersonic tyres simply suck.

I think polish HT DH culture comes simply from youngsters not having money - 'if I can not afford a full sus frame then I stick my big, long, second hand forks onto my XC/DJ hardtail frame'.
We both know in theory it does not really work and looks odd too.
You need to experiment with the forks but somehow I have got feeling you will get better handling with a shorter one...170mm for this frame will be IMHO a bit excessive and you will loose all climbing abilities for sure.

With 66 forks the head angle will be even slacker but I am not sure if this is the case of bad handling, you may just need a bit more time on the bike to get used to.
Many long travel HT's come with slack HA these days, I think your is 69.5deg with 130mm forks so not a big deal but longer forks fitted will definitely change a geometry.
I am just finishing a new HT project with 67.5deg!! for 140mm forks - this is what some 6-7inch travel full susser are having.
Finally I agree, riding hardtails require more gymnastics of your body than on full sussers, some people I met says it is 'more fun' to ride their HT in bike parks and I kind of agree with that.

The mudguard is CRUD. It actually looks not bad and apart from keeping the mud off your face also protects the frame from stone chips. It comes in different colours too. I use one of those on my Giant Reign.

I really like this Spec P AM... but I hope your Nomad frame won't be gathering the dust (?)
